Cemented Achromatic Doublet

Lenses

A two-element cemented lens for color-corrected imaging and focusing, quoted from the prescription, cement and centration requirements.

This is a drawing-led item. The reference values below help frame the discussion; the pattern, groove or spectral data on your drawing controls the quotation.

A cemented doublet combines a positive low-dispersion element with a negative high-dispersion element to reduce chromatic focal shift. The prescription, cement, centration and transmitted wavefront should be reviewed together. The configuration below is a reference starting point, not a fixed catalog part.

  • Color-corrected focusing

What to include in the RFQ

The following inputs let us quote the geometry, coating and inspection route without guessing.

Request a quote for this component
  1. 01Full prescription or drawing with radii, thicknesses and air gaps
  2. 02Substrate pair and cement requirement
  3. 03EFL, back focal length and transmitted wavefront target
  4. 04Centration and mount reference
  5. 05Coating curve and wavelength band
