High-Reflectance Coating
Coatings
A dielectric or metallic high-reflectance coating for mirrors and reflective optics, designed to your wavelength and AOI.
Typical values
| Parameter | Reference |
|---|---|
| Reference reflectance | >99% at design wavelength; by design |
| Reference AOI | 0–45° |
| Coating type | Dielectric or protected metal |
| Substrate | Glass / UV fused silica / metal |
| LIDT | By drawing review |
This is a drawing-led item. The reference values below help frame the discussion; the pattern, groove or spectral data on your drawing controls the quotation.
High-reflectance coatings are specified by the reflection band, AOI, target R, substrate and laser damage requirement. A dielectric stack can reach very high R over a narrow band; a protected metal coating is broader but lower. The route is selected after the curve and environment are reviewed.
